The injections of two compounds of the substituted 1, 3, 4-thiadiazines class (L-17 and L-14) were accompanied by normalization of the total number and fractions of peripheral blood leukocytes in rats with type 2 diabetes, obtained by administration of nicotinamide and streptozotocin. L-17 is more effective than L-14 in reducing hyperglycemia.
