Impedance of the SnO2|liquid crystal ZhK-440|SnO2 system

The SnO₂|ZhK-440|SnO₂ system, where the ZhK-440 is a liquid crystal mixture consisting of 2/3 parts of p-butyl-p'-methyloxyazoxybenzene and 1/3 part of p-butyl-p'-heptanoyloxyazoxybenzene, was studied by impedance spectroscopy. The impedance spectrum of the system contained the contributions from electric conductivity and bulk and electrode polarizations. The models of bulk and electrode impedance were discussed.
