Abstract
The publication of a book by experienced clinicians and prominent scientists I.R. Voronovich and L.A. Pashkevich is an important event in the life of orthopedic traumatologists, oncologists and neurosurgeons. We are convinced that this edition will not only not leave the reader indifferent, but will also lead to deep creative reflections. The monograph is devoted to one of the most difficult problems of bone oncology - the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the spine. It is the result of 4 7 years of creative work of the authors, summarizing 6547 observations of tumors and tumor-like lesions of the bones, including 363 cases of spinal lesions. Multifaceted and versatile coverage of topical issues of spinal oncology determine the value of this book.
