详细

Possible applications of dynamic light scatterring for measurement of the sizes of nanoparticles and their distributions by size are considered. Nanoparticles are added to a complex colloidal system (blood plasma or some other biological fluid) containing particles of similar sizes. The contribution of the added particles to the light scattering is found by the method of depolarized dynamic light scattering (for anisotropic particles) or by processing experimental data (for isotropic particles). Examples illustrating the determination of the sizes of gold nanoparticles and liposomes added to undiluted blood plasma are presented.
