Катализаторы процессов электроокисления продуктов переработки биомассы (обзор)

В последние годы ведутся активные исследования в области катализаторов процессов электроокисления водорастворимых продуктов переработки биомассы на анодах электролизеров, сопряженных с процессом получения водорода на катодах этих устройств. Продуктами переработки биомассы, перспективными для электроокисления, являются глицерин, глюкоза, фурфурол и 5-гидроксиметилфурфурол. В обзоре рассмотрены исследования катализаторов электроокисления глицерина, глюкозы, фурфурола и 5-гидроксиметилфурфурола на основе металлов различных групп. Электроокисление данных органических соединений на катализаторах на основе благородных металлов (металлов платиновой группы и золота) и их сплавов начинаются в интервале потенциалов от 0.3 до 0.7 В (о.в.э.), достигая максимума при ~1 В (о.в.э.). Основным недостатком катализаторов на основе благородных металлов является их высокая стоимость. Среди неблагородных металлов, изучаемых в качестве компонентов катализаторов данных реакций, перспективными признаны никель и кобальт. Но в присутствии катализаторов на основе этих металлов реакции электроокисления обсуждаемых органических соединений начинаются при потенциалах выше 1 В (о.в.э.). В результате электроокисления глицерина могут быть получены глицеральдегид, дигидроксиацетон, глицериновая, тартроновая, гликолевая, щавелевая, глиоксалевая и мезоксалевая кислоты. Ценным продуктом электроокисления глюкозы является глюконовая кислота, фурфурола - 2-фуранкарбоновая кислота, 5-гидроксиметилфурфурола - 2,5-фурандикарбоновая кислота.
