Определение возраста азовской хамсы Engraulis encrasicolus maeoticus (Engraulidae) на основе анализа изображений отолитов

Для уточнения определения возраста азовской хамсы Engraulis encrasicolus maeoticus оценены размеры отолитов сеголеток и радиусы годовых колец в отолитах особей разных возрастных групп. Проанализированы отолиты 380 рыб, отловленных в Азовском море в октябре–ноябре 2018 г. и у северо-западного побережья Кавказа в феврале 2019 г. С применением программы ImageJ измерена наибольшая длина отолита и построены профили интенсивности отражённого света вдоль трансекты по длине отолита. У сеголеток средней абсолютной длиной 70.9 ± 6.7 мм в октябре–ноябре радиус отолитов в среднем составил 0.95 ± 0.08 мм, а в феврале при средней длине рыб 66.6 ± 10.6 мм – 0.86 ± 0.15 мм. У самых мелких сеголеток длиной 48–55 мм расстояние от центра отолита до конца светлой опаковой зоны варьировало от 0.54 до 0.72 (в среднем 0.63 ± 0.04) мм. Радиусы до центра тёмной гиалиновой зоны отолитов для разных возрастных групп хамсы по осреднённым данным составили: R1 – 0.94 ± 0.09, R2 – 1.23 ± 0.08 и R3 – 1.40 ± 0.07 мм. Настоящее исследование направлено на развитие автоматических методов определения возраста рыб по пикам профилей на изображениях отолитов.
