Electromagnetic Interference Generated in a Spacecraft During Static Charge Accumulation

Resumo

An approximate assessment of the electrical fields generated on charging the spacecraft is performed. The interference generated by the protecting device intended for neutralizing a noncompensated electrical charge on the spacecraft body is assessed. The assessment shows that the electrical fields can lead to failures in operations of the onboard electronic equipment.
