Abstract
Functional-gradient materials with a variable density can be manufactured by varying a configuration of the base elements of cellular constructions, which is important when designing medicine implants with improved characteristics. The microstructure of cellular elements fabricated by selective laser melting has been studies, and the mechanical characteristics of samples with cellular elements have been determined.
