Модификация поверхности синтетического валлериита наночастицами золота: роль специфической адсорбции и дзета-потенциала

Аннотация
Слоистые 2D-материалы, свойства которых могут радикально отличаться от характеристик трехмерных прекурсоров, имеют огромное теоретическое и прикладное значение. Недавно, с использованием простой методики автоклавного синтеза, нами получен слоистый 2D-материал – аналог природного минерала валлериита, в котором квазимоноатомные Cu–Fe–S листы перемежаются с бруситоподобными. Особенности электронной структуры таких материалов позволяют предлагать их как новый материал для широкого спектра приложений, таких как (электро)фотокатализ, высокоемкостные источники тока и т. п. В настоящей работе нанокомпозитные материалы получены путем иммобилизации наночастиц золота (НЧЗ) из цитратных гидрозолей на поверхности синтетических валлериитов, различающихся составом гидроксидных слоев, определяющих поверхностную плотность заряда. По данным рентгенофотоэлектронной спектроскопии (РФЭС), просвечивающей электронной микроскопии (ПЭМ), рентгеновского энергодисперсионного микроанализа и картин микродифракции электронов, золото, иммобилизованное на нанохлопьях валлериита с латеральными размерами 150–200 нм и толщиной десятки нм, представлено в форме отдельно расположенных сферических металлических НЧ со средним диаметром 11 нм; небольшое число агрегатов указывает на высокое сродство НЧЗ к поверхности минералов. Количество закрепленного золота на поверхности всех синтетических валлериитов одинаково, около 0.2 отн.%, что связано с одновременно протекающей сорбцией свободных цитрат-ионов, находящихся в гидрозолях НЧЗ, которые, как показали измерения дзета-потенциала, заряжают поверхность всех исследованных образцов синтетических валлериитов до примерно одинаковой отрицательной величины –40 мВ. Показано, что иммобилизация НЧЗ, согласно РФЭС данным, значительно снижает содержание магния и кислорода на поверхности синтетических валлериитов, за счет разрушения/растворения части бруситного слоя, а также снижается количество Fe3+, связанного с OH-группами, и одновременно растет доля Fe3+-O соединений. Сохранение слоистой структуры валлериитов после иммобилизации НЧЗ подтверждено методом ПЭМ.
