A mathematical model of the laser-telemetric measurement method with angular scanning was developed. It describes the measurement procedure of scanning an object at different spatial angles of the TVcamera optical axis under the control of the distances to separate points using a laser ranger. A technique for forming a digital image of a spatial object (“cloud” of points) from a flat image on the basis of the objectsurface approximation by a set of planes, which are constructed using reference points that reflected the laser beam. A device that implements the proposed method was developed.
