Limitations of the Boussinesq Model on the Example of Laminary Natural Convection of Gas between Vertical Isothermal Walls

Resumo

The problem of laminary natural convection in a gas between two vertical isothermal plates heated up to different temperatures is considered. An analytical solution is obtained and compared to the solution of a similar problem for a liquid in the Boussinesq approximation.
