On a Finding of the Southern Palaearctic Ladybird Clitostethus arcuatus (Rossi) (Coleo ptera, Coccinell idae) in Moscow Province

In the Balashikha Urban District of Moscow Province, a ladybird, Clitostethus arcuatus (Rossi), predator of the cabbage whitefly (= celandine whitefly) Aleyrodes proletella (L.), was collected in May 2019 on celandine, Chelidonium majus L., in a coniferous forest. This southern Palaearctic ladybird had been previously known from natural habitats in Russia only in the Northwestern Caucasus.
