Resumo

The design and construction of a complex electrolytic unit that produces simultaneously a chlorinecontaining anode liquor and sodium ferrate, the combination of which is used for water treatment, are reported. The proposed stationary unit uses tap water, salt, and electricity as feedstocks so that it can be easily integrated into most manufacturing facilities and can have a mobile build for on-site handling of emergencies.
