Abstract
The production technology for a magnetic galvanic-sludge sorbent for purification of waste waters and surface waters is described. Its physical and chemical properties (floatability, contact angle of wetting, water absorption, petroleum capacity, etc.), structure, efficiency of water purification from various petroleum products, and kinetics of petroleum-product absorption from the water surface are studied.
